A water wheel and intricately hand carved and hand painted dancing couples figurines also move to the two beautiful twenty-two note Swiss melodies that play on the hour. This cuckoo clock is finished with an antique stain, with a sign on the right saying "Biergarten" and additional accent colors and figurines that give this clock a lively atmosphere, just like an actual beer garden! Three pinecone weights hang from the bottom: one to keep the time, one for the cuckoo call at every half and full hour, and a third for the music that plays. The clock operates on an eight day movement with an automatic night shut-off, making time keeping simple and enjoyable.
